About Deansterf

Dean Ruffel Flandez, a.k.a. Deansterf, is an amateur visual artist. His artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by observing his father, Domingo “Bebot” Flandez, create art. Despite lacking formal training, Deansterf honed his skills through observation, imitation, and self-study.

Deansterf’s style draws from impressionism, favoring emotive scenes with a touch of surrealism and melancholy. His influences include renowned artists like Magritte, Dali, Van Gogh, Renoir, and Monet, but his deepest influence remains his father.

Beyond art, Deansterf finds inspiration in manga, movies, anime, photography, and music, often using these interests to fuel his creative process. He prefers to let his work speak for itself and hates explaining it.
